One thing I hate are LABELS!!! They make me angry! 😡
(Check out the previous post to see woman who own the label curvy!) Labels can be suffocating and dividing. Take for instance using fruits to label different body shapes. Apple and pear... generally come out to mean bad and good, respectively. That should not be the way you look at your body. When this happens it opens the door for animosity amongst women over something that means nothing. We have to understand that we make the label... we can not give the labels we create the power to invalidate our bodies. Just like our individual personalities, the differences in our bodies are created to be celebrated and shared not shunned and hidden.
Besides having curves is universal to all women. Curvy is one of the only labels I’ll accept because it is technically all inclusive. I like to base my understanding of words and concepts starting with the Webster definition of such word.
Having a round shape... Curves of the body...
Sounds about right to me. Curves can be found at your waist... around your hips, your thighs, around your cleavage, or stomach... even your legs! Having curves is just as common as having a smile. Which is also a curve😊, and being curvy is something all women can be proud of, no matter how wide or narrow your curves are they all tell a story.
If you are still confused here are my too ten images to help drive home the visual for the answer to the question “What is curvy?”
What is the story behind your curves? Did having children a add chapter? What about depression? Have you put determination into your curves?
